Elijah’s Hill, a mound about a mile away from the Baptism Site where Elijah ascended to heaven on a chariot of fire
The Cave where Jesus would come visit John the Baptist, reportedly on the west side of Elijah’s Hill with a monastery constructed on it in the 5th century, maybe corresponding to the location of today’s Western Church on site

Al-Maghtas, officially Baptism Site 'Bethany Beyond the Jordan', an archaeological World Heritage Site on the east bank of the Jordan River in Jordan.[1] It is reputed to be the place of the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist, and has been venerated as such since at least the Byzantine period.[1]
