Located about 4 kilometers away from the shrines of Abdullah ibn Rawahah (r.a.), Jaafar ibn Abi Talib (r.a.), and Zaid ibn Harithah (r.a.), the Battle of Mutah site was where these venerable companions of the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, found their physical death against Byzantine forces.
