Solomon’s Temple

Solomon's Temple, also called the First Temple, a temple in Jerusalem believed to have stood between the tenth and sixth centuries BCE.[1] Its description rests largely on narratives in the Hebrew Bible, in which it was commissioned by King Solomon, son of David, and it was reportedly destroyed during Nebuchadnezzar II's siege of Jerusalem.[1]
