Chaim ibn Attar (c. 1696 to 1743), a Talmudist and kabbalist known as the Or ha-Hayyim after his commentary on the Torah.[1] He is considered one of the most prominent rabbis of Morocco and is highly regarded in Hasidic Judaism.[1]
