Lalla Ruqayya bint Hussein (r.a.)

Ruqayya is venerated at a mashhad in Cairo, where she is traditionally considered a patron saint and where vows and intercessionary prayers are still offered.[1] Note that this record names her a daughter of Husayn while the cited source identifies her as Ruqayya bint Ali, a daughter of the first Imam, Ali ibn Abi Talib.[1]
