Sidi Muhammad Al-Arabi Al-Darqawi
Muhammad al-Arabi al-Darqawi (1760 to 1823), a Moroccan Sufi leader of the Shadhili tariqa and the author of letters on the dhikr he preached and on daily conduct.[1] He stressed noninvolvement in worldly affairs and spoke against other Sufi orders exploiting claims of barakah, and he was imprisoned by the ruler Mulay Slimane.[1]
