Sidi Abd al-Wahab Chaarani

Abd al-Wahhab al-Sha'rani (1492 to 1565), an influential Egyptian jurist, traditionist, historian, mystic and theologian.[1] One of the Islamic revivalists of the sixteenth century, he was among the most prolific writers of the early Egyptian-Ottoman period and his legal, spiritual and theological writings are still read.[1]
